No I have not ever attended anything there. It looks interesting and my social workers might know something about it.

Well guys another fun week is over. I had some awesome deliveries including one to a good customer today. With the holidays and snow birds down here, business is picking up on the routes I am doing. One of my firm beliefs is that more customers will choose us versus competitors because of our customer service and people who work for the company (there are three). In addition, whenever I go to a customer, my goal is for the customer to be happy with our service. As my own rule, I always thank them for their business and wish them a happy day or weekend.
Some of things I have learned are you need to take your time in this business. Larry told me to just go slow and focus and the rest will come naturally. I am fortunate to have a boss who is teaching me my main job. I use to not be able to tell the difference between aluminum and steel. In addition I could not spray paint if my life depended on it. I can do those things. I can tell when a tank is our of date and needs to be hydro'd (tanks are certified in 5yr increments). I can do many things that I could not do before I came here. Finally he told me never to give up and think of a solution should something go wrong. In conclusion, my job is like math; an equation. Have a good weekend and god bless. Be safe.

Good grief man, what's the big deal? If there such private people, why do they advertise and have their names on the trucks? I'm not asking for any personal information or anything like that... Just snap a picture son!

Our flatbed is 8'ft by 96in and has a thieman lifegate. I have placards on all four sides as I haul over 1001lb of materials at work. My truck is an 01 though with the 7.3 power stroke diesel.

Another week has gone by and my experience grows. My boss informed me I would be in charge of the shop Today and yesterday afternoon. Lets just say I was was a little nervous. Anyways, things went well. I made two local deliveries early this morning and came back to the shop in record time. Even Larry's boss was surprised.
Everything went well with a few mistakes here and there. The route driver helped me a lot today on questions and certain situations. Yesterday I did set a record for boxing 1500lbs of dry ice in 45min. Larry even said he was proud of me. Finally, I am proud my big boss stuck my decision making when a customer complained that we were over charging her. Larry told me to price her at x price and when I did, she complained. The Great Dane (big boss) sided with me. Compared to last time by myself, I think I did fairly well. We'll see Monday.

Monday has come and go for me. Today was a short three hours but I did plenty of things. I spray painted three cylinders into their respective color. Also, I washed my truck and vacuumed out the interior. My boss asked if I wanted to use the existing or new cheap floor mats. I chose the later which I will get tomorrow. I did pass the test and will run the shop when my boss goes on his vacation trip. Edit: Anyone who knows my industry can guess where I work since there are only three places in FL where dry ice is made.

First off, my boss treats me good and I like to perform well which enables better things to happen. My boss invited me down to a carnival he was working. I got there early and some Gingerale while waiting. After waiting, I went up to where he was working and ordered a hotdog. He told me to come around and sit with him and his family. I met their foreign exchange student, duaghters, and his wifes mother. Very nice family he has..
Today I came in and Larry told me we were doing door hangers for the resturant his boss owns. The door hanging went well and a few people were glad to get the free coupons as they like our BBQ. On the way home Larry told me I'd be getting some wheel time. I got to make my usual run to Vero Beach to one of our customers. On the way the back on I-95 somewhere between Sebastian and Palm Bay I thought I saw member fortycalglock haul some military equipment.
Anyways, I got off work and was coming home when I noticed an accident involving a bicyclist. Apparently a minivan was going through the intersection and in the process struck the bicycle. The lady was lying down on a witnesses cars hood. What got me upset was the fact that that this accident could have been avoided. My heart goes out the person involved. I think we all should be careful when driving no matter the situation.
