Well it is not only that but we do not have individual meters for water as they changed from charging one lump sum to charging it by usage. Only for electricity we have individual meters. My question is how can the apartment complex tell how much water we have used??

Think you've been out voted KH. Go ahead and stay there for another term THEN, before it runs out next time, you can start looking around and have the time to do it right. BTW, I agree with the rest.
As for the water, they probably have some formula they use but water aint that much. -
Well my dad agreed with you guys. So it looks like I am staying here. I am praying that god brings me something better. Do not get me wrong, I like this place but the landlord and its staff are very rude. However I have decided to save my $$$ for something better.
KHmgt1085 and Panhandle flash Thank this. -

Well guys got in four hours today. Had some interesting jobs. One job was cleaning out the smoker where the ashes are. In addition, I had one interesting loading dock. Wish I had a camera though my boss is not fond of them. First, I delivered two CO2 tanks to a new customer and after hooking them up and explaining to the customer how to operate it and such. Gave him a business card as he wants to talk to my boss. Anyways, he told me next time I came in breakfast was on him. Sweet as I will take him up on his offer. Anyways, I delivered to a playhouse next. Now that is one interesting loading dock that is tight but well worth it. Nice area but tight road leading back which I backed all the way into.
Now that is one challenge that was interesting. Got back and loaded two dewars (giant tank that weighs 600lbs) onto the F350 for tomorrows long run. Route driver will do that. Anyways this is one interesting day. Learned how to clean out a smoker and load one up. All in all one good day.

I have a pic my boss took of me. I do not know how to upload it as there was no sim card being used. I would appreciate some help.
Wells guys,
Today was a nervous day and happy day. My deliveries went fine except for one which I handled properly by stepping out and calling Larry. After work, I then went to my doctors appointment and got some bad news. My doctor has ordered a CT scan. Also, my adenoids have a chance of being sampled for anything wrong. My main concern is me missing work. A sample would require me to go to sleep. This would take away from work. I gotta give kudos and a big than you to Larry for accommodating me in my Dr. Appointments. He DOES NOT have to. He Could schedule me and say your fired if you do not show. Anyways, I'll know in January if these suckers are coming out. Be safe.

Well guys,
The 8th will mark my six month anniversary here. Therefore I have decided to do a six month review on the company.
Equipment
The equipment we have does the job they are asked to do. My truck I normally drive is the F350 diesel dually. It performs well for having 183K on her. When the heater core pipe began leaking, my boss got it replaced. Everything is maintained well. Next year, we expect to get a replacement route truck, as ours is getting old.
People
The route driver, AKA The Australian, is a nice person. He does a great job and is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. For what he does, he has a lot of patience, and he has always never turned me away whenever I needed help.
The owner, AKA Great Dane, runs our other business that we have on property; The BBQ place. When my direct boss goes away, he is the one that looks over this one. He has backed me up in my decision making. He even went out of his Wto give me a free turkey for thanksgiving. Now he could have charged me full price; however, he recognized that I do a good job for him and Larry. For what he has done and has enabled Larry to do with me, I thank him.
The boss Larry expects you to do your best and expects nothing less. He just wants to see you put 110% into your job and learn from your mistakes. He has worked with me on my doctors appointments and is very flexible. Larry is a very kind person and a awesome supervisor to deal with. He is straight up and does not deal with nonsense. Also, he is very busy as he wears several different hats. He arrives at 5am daily and usually does not leave till 4pm. He has taken the time to get to know me and he is one of the few people to have said that he enjoys working with me.
Work
Each day is a challenge here as things change on a daily basis. In order to work here, one must be able to change and adjust as needed. Most of time, Larry lets me go at my own pace. However, there are times when I must kick it into high gear and go at steady yet fast pace.
I have no complaints thus far. I did have a time where I was worried about handling our big dewars. I even had one fall on me. As a result, Larry ordered me to stop using the cheater cart (its a dolly used to haul them around) and manhandle it. I have since become adjusted and handle them comfortably. I prefer manhandling over the cheater cart as it gives you a challenge to load and unload as most of the places have some sort of challenge when it comes to storing them. Also, I used to not like the outside and want anything to do with it. My opinion and views on this have changed. Nowadays I love being outside and I dislike working inside except when its raining.
We work in all weather except when its lightning and when Larry deems it safe not to drive. We fill tanks, make dry ice and do other stuff that is confidential to people who work there. In the end, no complaints that have not been mentioned have been resolved.

Spacecoast, Panhandle flash, jlind and 2 others Thank this. -
To be quiet honest JJ and I didn't notice this thread until today....JJ named his thread JJ's Place because he worked for Central and Left, worked for Cargo Express and left and started working for Motor West and we both knew we wouldn't be staying there for very long as we purchased our own truck and will be going to somewhere else with it.
That would have been three threads lol so he named it JJ's place and as you know different people from different companies post and let everyone know what there doin! -
I changed mine because I not only want to talk about my job. I want to post about my life and family plus other stuff as well. I could post the name of my company but I choose not too for personal reasons.

Well guys it is the end of another successful week. I worked 28.5 hours this week though next week it will be less. I have my cat scan for adenoids mid day on Tuesday and will more than likely have that day off.
On another note I did eat dinner with my grand parents and their friend. It was very good and nice. I do not get to see them that often as they are old and sick a lot. This was unexpected as I was going to groceries and I saw them pull in. After exchanging pleasantries, I was invited to dinner. Overall, it has been a great a week. I wish all weeks could go as good as this one.
KHjlind Thanks this.
