    Well guys,

I am still here at my job. A lot has changed for me. I have gone through the school of hard knox and am still going through it. This job has been a turning point in my life for the better. I have surprised many people including myself by how much strength I possess.

I've been in PA for 7 long months now and I'm counting down the days to coming home. I'm hoping with some consideration Pritchett will have me back and I'd like to think that I could possbily retire from there. What I'm getting at is if you like where you're at, put up with the good and the bad because the reprocussions of leaving can really suck bad, just come live in PA for a year if you want a dose of reality. And it's not that PA's a bad state, it's just a tough transition when you've lived in Florida your entire life.

Not yet, fear of them saying no I guess. I haven't had much luck outside the realm of Pritchett, what's the old saying "you don't know what you've got until you don't have it anymore"? I understand that fully now.

In all honesty, driving a straight truck is better for me. Sometimes I rarely drive but a lot time it's 50% driving, 50% shop work. I will admit my spray painting skills are getting better and better. If you ever want to talk, pm me for my number.

My job has been going steady. I have no complaints except my usual where do people learn how to drive. I will say some gas prices have gone up (not regular gasoline but gases like Co2). As a result, I have no clue on how our customers will react. My hours are back up and im one to blame on this issue. I asked to go home early for some good chow with my family.

Throughout this year, my dad and my family have supported me. I am particularly excited about my confirmation next week. Also, I am excited about me getting our family boat Simplicity ready for the summer. I am hoping to buy a tube so my niece can learn and enjoy tubing behind a boat. Despite gas prices, I am still able to enjoy my relaxation on the water as my boat goes through a tank of gas per bi-weekly and/or monthly depending on how often we use it.

Well guys I have nothing but good news to report. For the last two weeks my boss has been giving me a set schedule that subject to change daily rather than getting a start time every day after work. Case in point: Tomorrow my boss needs me at work two hours earlier than my scheduled time. He asked if it were a problem; Since I hardly have anything going on in the morning, I said yes. I like getting the extra hours and being alone. My favorite task is to take the initiative and clean up.

Since being employed where I am, my boss has tested my limits as he should know what I can and can not do. There are times when I thought I would quit and in the end, I decided to stick it out. The reward has been great and I feel blessed to work with the best crew in my area that I have worked with.

    The Good

    1) I am still learning and learn new things every day2) I have a good team to work to work with who likes working with me3) My boss has taken the time to understand my disability and me as a person
    4) I get treated like a name and not a number

    The bad

The bad depends on how you look at the job. Doing well here depends on the way you want the outcome to turn out. I like my outcomes to be positive. Plus if I ever am in a situation where I need help, my boss or my coworker is one call away. In the end, there is no bad for me as I like to make everything positive.

Well guys, this week was all about learning lessons. I will say whatever punishments my boss gave me, I deserved. I will not argue with my boss there.

    Today

I had a sudden health issue come up and made my docs appointment for today as I had a partial day. I made my usual Friday delivery and went back to the shop. I then filled some tanks and did my usual Friday route. After getting back, I found stuff to keep me busy.

    Yesterday

I started the day by reloading our route truck. I then made a couple of local deliveries and went back to the shop. When the route driver came back, I did a quick turnaround and got him back out so he could do his afternoon route. Afterwards, my boss called it a day for me as things have been going slow.
