I like a second opinion. So a fifth opinion carries a lot of weight to me. Once I ended up getting inspected in an alleyway, I should have wondered what the #### was going on, but that was only opinion number two. You don't want to know about 3 - 5. Well, maybe you do. But I'm going to have to charge you a subscription fee for those.

I’ve had 2 run ins with kidney stones. The pain is tremendous. Ended up in the ER both times . 1 time I passed it in the Er luckily. The other time they had to go up there and get it. After 72 hours of trying to pass it…..,

    they suck .

Oh dude! You raise another good point in the saga of suckness that is kidney stones. I forgot about that. The dreaded “going up” to get it.

My DM messaged me and asked why I pulled over 15 times today...

"I'm feverishly chugging water after seeing the kidney stones thread on truckersreport!!!!"

(True story that I made up for this post)

My wife and father in law get them regularly. Have so for their whole adult lives. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a year. To the point were they don’t hurt anymore just discomfort. It’s hereditary in their case.

Water works. It's the best thing you can drink. As long as the water doesn't have a high mineral content. In that case it's the worst thing you can drink.

I am down to 16oz of coffee and 101.4 oz of alkaline water a day. I also carry a kidney stones kit with three prescriptions to help pass them. When I drop off on the water, they stones are next.
