Arkansas does not reimburse for road damage. Ive looked into it one year recently. The assumption is that you are on a public road and generally it's something that is already being maintained and thus no monies would be paid to you having damage while using it.

That’s a bad stretch of interstate on the eastbound side starting at the 55 interchange until about the 355 interchange. Narrow, lots of potholes, LOTS of idiots. Also a construction zone thrown in for fun in both directions. I would always cringe having to run through there, and unfortunately there is really no good way around it. supposedly they have plans to upgrade the whole stretch of I-80 to a tollway in IL like they did with 90 but that is a long ways off.

I hit a nasty moon crater in jersey the other week sometime in the night. Left a nice dark spot on both tires on the rear right drive. Doesn’t look like it weakened the sidewall though I wasn’t loaded at the time but #### that was hell of a jump I did.

Probably would have caused less damage if it had.

Hit a pothole in Indiana on i70 right before the Ohio State border a couple of years ago that sheared off my power steering fluid reservoir. Lost steering pretty quick, thought it broke my steering linkage. Pulled off at the weigh station in Ohio.

The tow truck driver that showed up said they had one of their trucks blow a steer on that same pothole earlier that week, he said if a motorcycle hits it they're dead.

Course you expect that kind of thing in Indiana.
