I am looking into a lease purchase program. I have talked to KLLM several times but I have heard the good and the bad from drivers. I just dont want to end up bankrupt running my ##### of doing 2500-3000 a week and not having anything to show from it and loosing my house and car. Any advise. Oh are the eletronic logs yet?

i have leased with KLLM since feb 2010. i came in from training and went straight to lease. This is the best lease program I have heard of or seen. The reason most people have problems is they try to run their lease truck as a truck and not a business. i have been very successful, but it is because i was new and didnt listen to drivers JUST because they have been driving for 20+ years. Learn the business, change your lifestyle to that of a businsess owner and you can make 1500-1800 a week and never run over 3000 miles.

they are WANTING company drivers to wait.... stop insinuating that they do.

they are out of trucks because the companies turnover is abnormally LOW compared to industry standards...

What am I insinuating? I have been waiting for two weeks for a truck. If I went L/P then I would be driving by now. A guy who upgraded with me is driving and I am waiting.

yeah...that doesnt mean they WANT company drivers to wait....

once a truck goes lease it cannot go back to the company side. the company is being very careful not to just buy up alot of trucks to fill seats... if you simply cannot wait... you may have to look elsewhere...

So why hire drivers when you have no trucks? They knew my intention when they hired me. And looking elsewhere for me is going out with a trainer again and I did that for two months already. But I may not have a choice.
