True. If you have 1 or more years verifiable experience, I would definitely not recommend kllm. But, it isn't the worst option to go getting your CDL and experience.

I only asked about lumper because I always try and unload the truck for the lumper pay. Cargill loads always made me an extra 300$. Weeks I was able to unload are the only ones I made decent money.
My status
Sitting all weekend due to a load stuck on my truck that was rejected by receiver. Dispatch doesn't know what to do with it all yet. Have to wait until monday. Lots of truck idling this weekend.. I'm at 64% idle for the quarter lol.. company sent me a message to idle less.desperado75 Thanks this. -
where are you stuck at are you on a dedicated account or still doing system freight???? haven't had loads refused before have product rejected but not since I have been on this account. only issue that may cause me to sit is not making it to customer before they close... -
I'm on the lms account.
I'm also in a 2013 cas without opt idle.. 268k miles on it. But it goes the speed limit. I think the 62mph is a hoax to scare us from company driving and to lease. I haven't met one company truck that is limited.
How many miles are on your truck?
My gas Guage cuts out and shows empty and I have to bang the dashboard for it to show me my fuel level for a few min and then it goes back to showing empty and blinking red. My speedometer also fell through the dashboard and is sitting inside it. I can still see how fast I'm going but I mainly use the cruse control so Im not worried about it.. my biggest concern is my headlights low beam wires burnt up and I took them out and moved my high beams to my low beams and drive with my brights on. I might take it to a shop sooner or later.. just don't ever feel like I have time.desperado75 Thanks this. -

I was trained in a brand new truck by a company driver and it did 70.
I don't think I could handle 60. People that are stuck at 60 speed in construction areas when I'm doing the speed limit at 45-55mph they get angry and pass me up... I laugh because of the role reversal. When they are the ones that are normally slowing everyone down.. speeding in a construction zone is too big of a risk.Loose Leaf and desperado75 Thank this. -
You should look into driving for Old Dominion. They have a terminal in your town. Pay is better doing LTL and you are home every week..
desperado75 Thanks this. -

Yeah. OTR can be nice sometimes. I started marking nice places to park.
Red is Casinos
Green is Truck Stops
Blue is Walmarts
Orange is Customers. These customers on the lms account are small and Im starting to take notes.Attached Files:
