    Be safe out there driver.

Last night I delivered a broker load to Koch foods in Chicago. Place is in a residential area. So had to make a tight turn into there. Get checked in was assigned to door 4. The only way to really get into that door was to blind side. I did my set up wrong. So had to pull back out to the front of the building just to make a u turn. Come back around in another driver is backing into my door. The guy that checked me in came out to apologize and told me to back into door 5. I was out of hours by the time they unloaded me so have to safe haven to a walmart about 20 miles away. Chicago is my least favorite city to go to now. Just picked up another load going to Texas.

My first load out of dallas was to kansas city then lithonia georgia. Im in lithonia now waiting for my next load. Coming into this terminal was a hairy situation. I now no longer trust my GPS as it had me drive thru a residential neighborhood, had to split alot of lanes to make turns, also had to make an oncoming cardriver stop and back up so i could make a turn, almost hit a pole doing that. I made it thankfully.

Same with mines. But in Chicago. People was looking at me crazy while I was backing up. I want to get a Garmin or a Rand McNally.

When are you fellas gonna learn, GPS is nice but not perfect. It's between your ears. A good map display will tell you terrain data plus type of human area such as residental etc.

I hate to be a rain here but man...

I know gps is just a tool. I use Google maps now to find the customer and plan which way to come in.

It's ok, no worse than I did taking my rig into a cell phone tower. They had built it directly on the old roadway, landscaped everything and rerouted the old road further east in Delaware off the US 1 bridge near a shipper that was for nursery flowers etc. Solid eastern ocean fog that morning. Followed the laptop right in. 40 acres to get back out.
