KLLM Driving Academy (Lancaster, TX)

I delivered this morning. Took them 1hr 30mins to unload 88 drums. Once unloaded got the ok to head home. Had to find a safe place to where I could drop the trailer. Since the truck stops have a problem of letting you drop there. I'm now out with the family at chili's. Going to enjoy my time off. Happy holidays to you guys.

 

Hope everybody had a good Christmas. I sure did. Getting ready to hit the road. Picking up in Baytown today. And delivering in Laredo.

 

I started to just drop it there. But just had to ask lol. There is a lot across from the waffle house and a hotel called best Texans inn back home. They said it was ok for me to park it there. Live right around the corner from it.

I'm sitting here wanting to be loaded. I guess something happened in the warehouse as they will not load anybody now until they get the ok from management. Hope it will not take forever. Ready to be rolling.

After waiting 45mins they finally started to load me. 44k in the box. Took them almost an hour to load it. Might have to put the truck in the shop. I think I need an alignment. The truck keep wanting to pull to the right. And hauling this liquid doesn't help. I don't get a pm done until next month. But my oil level is getting a lil low. So going to get some either from the yard or truck stop. Got my next load assignment. I'll be reloading out the same place and going to Greeneville, OH. Back to the cold I go.

 

Well I'm unloaded. This place is a challenge to back into when there is truck all around. Picking up at the same location. Only getting two totes. So my mpg will be good. All the way up to Ohio.

 

Not to pleased right now. Was going through my pay stubs and my loads. Making sure everything is matching up. And behold a load that I did before hometime was not paid out. That's $300+ missing. This is the second time I had an issue with payment. Going to call billing and payroll in the morning. Hopefully can get it worked out. And make it clear this will not cut it. If not once I hit 3 months come the 14th I will be looking elsewhere to work. Which would suck because I'm getting miles here. But I refuse to do any load for free.

 

Sitting here in Greenville. Two days before I'm suppose to deliver. But this place is a fcfs. So hoping I can get unloaded by morning. Forgot that yesterday was Saturday. So of course I got my payroll coordinator voicemail. Will call her once unloaded to get my pay fixed. Hope everybody new years was good. Wish I could've popped some fireworks. Or at least seen some. But oh well. Going to fix me something to eat and call it a night.

 

Got unloaded around 0700 this morning. Here it is 3hrs later with no new load. This is the longest I had to sit. Got my pay fixed. Turns out the pay stub I was looking at wasn't the right one. They paid that load out the week before the one I thought it was on. Should have looked more closely. Anyway hopefully I will have a load within the hour.
