I strongly feel the miles are more consistent. Because they are usually the high priority loads. On the basf account they are anyway.

 

Not sure. Under the kllm umbrella there's ffe,deepwell, and forest products. We have a small dedicated flatbed account.

 

I believe so. They also own southern tire. They would prefer us to get our tires done there.

 

Well time to get back rolling. Got a call this morning. They want me to swap with a driver trying to get home. I know this load going to be a pain because it's an os&d. Going back to iowa. I'm currently waiting to get the load info so I can get to the swap location.

 

After an hour or so of waiting, got tired and called dispatch. Told oh yeah you can head to swap location. Ok i knew that. Needed the location to roll to. Finally get that sent to the qc. Swapped out with a driver about 1hr 30mins away. Anybody else qc froze up and cut on and off? Mines did that twice. Once that was completed got all the load info. Bring this load back to iowa. 1200 plus miles away. Good way to start my week after hometime. Already got my next load assignment too. I will reload out the same place and head to orange,ca. Been saying I miss running out west the past few weeks now. But not looking forward to running into any snow. I'm guessing I just need to buy a Coleman plugin cooler. My fridge is not cooling what's so ever. When I parked had water on the floor. I'm guessing the compressor went out. Someone told me that dorm fridges are not good because of the bumps. That they only last about 6 months. Should have listened to him lol.

 

Should be two hours down the road now. But woke up to my truck not wanting to move. The low air supply stay on when I have 110 psi. And now I'm getting a transmission fault. The guy working on my truck now said he would buy a Ford before a volvo. I like my truck when she running. He trying to fix the leak now. Going to try and make it to their shop to see about this transmission. I have until 1630 to deliver this load. And I'm 5 hours away. Tick tock

 

I got that air leak finally fixed. About time it was done my eta for deliver was way past due. No problem got the load reschedule for tomorrow morning. Get to sleep in tonight. I'm here in Brooklyn, IA getting a pm done now. Need to get to the yard asap. Need to get the 17 ifta sticker for the truck. Anybody know the deadline for it?

 

I'm sitting here in Wyoming heading to California. Wind gust is at 55+ and I only have 24k in the box. Going to take my time going through here. Trying to knock out 600 miles today.

 

Hit my goal for today. 611 miles done. Would have been more but I stop twice due to the wind. Once I got past rawlins the wind died down. I have 782 miles left on this trip. Goal is to do 650 tomorrow. That means keep my left door shut and rolling. Hopefully I won't run into any problems.
