My experience with the company was the exact opposite, but I'm not bitter anymore as I landed an excellent job with better bennies, pay, coworkers, supervisors, etc.

KLLM must be having financial issues. We finally got paid on a load from July and had them issue a Comcheck. When, out of frustration, it was mentioned they are playing games with "check is cut and will mail Friday" (the last of a long line of dodges) the lady on the phone lowered her voice and told us she hates it and is asked to lie all day long to push payments out as long as possible.
Last load we will ever haul for them.Flip Flops and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
BigBadBill Thanks this.

I officially "left" KLLM about a week ago. Been there two years, and I must be the weird one here, because I loved my time with the company. Only reason I chose to leave was that I am starting a local school bus job in FL so I can enroll in college in Jan.
my experience with KLLM has been a great one. No company is perfect, but I saw NOTHING of what is being talked about above. Never got paid late. And only real hang up was more with the shop than with operations. I was always treated with respect.
So not to be disrespectful here, but methinks that the above isn't telling the whole story.... (The Internet is pure truth right?!?)Last edited: Nov 13, 2012

corporate america has treated its employees like a commodity for 200 years. nothing new about that
but when it needs its employees, it gives out perks (insurance, vacation, etc), when times are tight, it cuts back, neither one should you take personal, you are no longer a person
so all of the mega-carriers are suffering, higher insurance, higher fuel, higher fines, higher costs of equipment
so they need to save money, where do you think they will take it from? YOU, the worker
where does the government take its money from? you, the worker
where do the toll people take their money from"? you, the worker
you are society's cash cow, and until you stand up and say you aint gonna take it any more, you will constantly be on the back burner of every corporation, government municipality, police officer, toll collector in the nation
good luck and welcome to austerity -
