I don't know that anyone want's you to fail. Most people just want you to be aware of what you're getting into. There are waaaayyy too many horror stories on TTR, where people see the positives of leasing a truck, but fail to consider the negatives. Then it's almost always "the company screwed me over".

 

If you're the kind of person that needs to have a new car every three years then you come out more or less the same leasing a car versus buying. The intelligent people buy a new car and drive it for 15+ years.

 

Really? The way cars are designed and built these days I doubt if it would last 15 years.
