    I searched the health threads and couldn't find anything on the subject so here's my issue..I have had Knee aches & pains for a long time..combination of hard work and hard play..so anyone who is battling knee oains if you wouldn't mind sharing what you do or take to help relieve achiness..:biggrin_25519:

    You do not need a prescription for naproxen. Aleve is naproxen.

    Any NSAID will help. (That stands for Non Steroidal Anti Inflamatory Drug...I'm not kidding, it really does.) Most over-the-counter pain relievers are NSAIDs. The only one that isn't that comes to mind is Tylenol (acetaminophen) and its rather large family. If taken daily, low doses of any NSAID will help.

    I have chronic joint pain from a degenerative form of arthritis. The OTC's helped for a while, but with the process going on with me, my medical team opted for a prescription. Luckily, it's not an expensive one and it helps tremendously.

    It's a good possibility Tiger Balm will help. If it doesn't, try any of the Capsaicin creams. Good luck and keep us posted...
