Knight and Swift Merge

I'm sure they did my socks gained 5k this morning

 

Swift already has 23,000 trucks and 77, 000 trailers. That doesn't count what Knight has.

 

I would be willing to bet the "Knight" brand will disappear. This is being touted as a "merger", but that is almost always just a couched way of saying one company bought the other.

All your trucks are belong to us.

 

Actually the new parent company is Knight-Swift Transportation Holding Co. Each company will continue as before operating completely separate as if nothing happened. Supposedly there will be no mixing of trucks, trailers or terminals. One huge change is Kevin Knight will be CEO and the majority of the board of directors will be Knight people.

Read the thread title, thought someone was getting side swiped.

The class of 1 is getting bigger.

Never drove for swift, but Knight treated me well. Other people had their issues, but Knight paid me 1100+ a week and Home weekends on the Discount Tire account. This was back in 2011, but overall They treated me pretty well back then.
No inverters or apu's, but the region I ran didn't often often require AC at night.(Pretty much Dallas to Denver on 287).

 

Figures they lied during the conference call this afternoon, the numbers I cited are what they gave us.
