Got an email today saying that due to budget constraints, the cdl school in Indy is getting shut down.
Knight will still have Squire program for those who have class A already but will not offer cdl school to those without CDL.

Good Knight.
.........CasanovaCruiser, HorseShoe and SHOJim Thank this. -

wow really? I just graduated from there 2 weeks back. Great instructors. I've actually been waiting for a non smoking trainer to get my 4 weeks done. I was told non smokers are a premium, but perhaps this might not help things either.
-
Yep. I was surprised myself.
-
Was it an email from a recruiter? I guess I'm going to have to call the training manager tomorrow and see what is going on. That is crazy. I feel bad for those guys. Like I said, they are top notch trainers. They took me, I had never been in a semi or shifted a manual, and taught me. I was able to pass my exam.
Oh did it say when it was shutting down? -
Yes it was from recruiter. She didnt give date. Said when I get a cdl to call and still be able to go through squire.
-
I was accepted into Olive Branch MS school, then told on the first day of my orientation that school is being shut down unexpectedly? I called the Phoenix School, and they are still operating, but are no longer going to pay for transportation to school, or room for two weeks...what gives?
-
Recruiter said budget constraints. Sucks really bad for people who quit job already to go to school. I hope the staff and instructors all find work. Just plain sucks!
-
Yes, me too. Lots of good people there that I met. Wish they could have given more of a warning before dropping the hatchet on everyone!
SHOJim Thanks this.
