I take it that now would not be a good time to put in an app with Squire? (Knights training division.) Wouldn't want to work for a company that covers up and destroys evidence in a situation like this any how. Glad I saw this post beforehand. I hope this woman gets a 9 figure settlement out of this.

There are a few things I do not see in here and maybe every police investigator who has to follow a hit and run should think about and even know! If anyone in KS is following this let the state and this investigator know these.
#1 Why did Trooper Kip Ballinger and the Kansas States Attorney rely on the company to supply and turn over the Qualcomm records when all they had to do was supena Qualcomms main Office and get them from their server in pristine condition and not changed or falsified. Qualcomm keeps every communication on their servers for at least 6 months and no matter how many times a company or driver hits a delete button anything already transmitted stays on their servers even the delete request!
#2 Why did they not even look for the trailer. There is probably still evidence on it IF they can find the one he was issued. Yes it's been 4 years but if they followed Muthee's pay and the BOL's they will take them straight back to it! But why there is no mention to the second half of the truck is beyond me. Where the tractor goes the trailer follows and they get "parts" thrown up and into the king pin plate from the drives every inch the truck moves not to mention all those floor joists that can collect "things" then those 8 other tires that will be pulled over "stuff" that will be thrown up into the joists and into wiring and other hiding holes!
There was about 74' of evidence holding truck and focusing on just the tractor is doing an incomplete investigation. That's MY professional advice to every LEO that investigates a semi accident like this one especially Trooper Ballinger.
As for McKinzie ever working for the KHP. I hope he made enough hush money off of Knight because that hole has dried up and I'll bet no other state will ever hire his arse again as you all know he's on some kind of LEO black list like maybe the police version of DAC! Yeah, he'll get jobs for BFI trucking companies and he might get a few divorce PI jobs but that was maybe the last big money he'll make unless another BFI has a Muthee moment and hires his sorry arse.
That's my two cents worth. Knight will still do their Bending over of drivers and they'll lose a large chunk of money but they'll still be out there to suck the life out of drivers that will drive for thin now POSBFI company!
Isn't it about time for Knighton and the rest of the cheerleaders to craw out from under their cow patties or do you think they will decide that Knight just isn't honest enough or has a reputation they would want and drive for now? There is no way in hello I would even consider driving for this now known as a POSBFI even if they actually paid a good rate and not that embarrassment they offer now!
Injun Thanks this. -
