I dunno, but I've only known one guy named Bernie. He can keep his weenie.

 

Wow. I just stumbled upon this. If any of this is true, Knight will pay dearly. And people will go to jail. It won't put them out of business, they are a cash cow, but things in Phoenix will not be the same...

 

WHY are you interested in bernie weenies? Is there something you are trying to tell us?

 

They used to do this to me ALL THE TIME, and then the pressure is on you to make up the time and/or deliver in an unreasonable time period. Esp seemed to happen when some weather was coming in. Not only are you under pressure to break the rules to make the (late) delivery, but you have to do it in a snow/ice storm.

Basically you're expected to DIE for their loads. Failing that, put yourself and the motoring public at risk. The amazing part is how many dudes are willing to be a hero for free. I guess making up for not making the ball team in HS?

I have tried numerous times to search for an update or the conclusion of this case . . no dice. Considering the amount of time that has passed, my best guess is that Injun was right, they have probably settled and agreed not to disclose the terms.

So, until we know better, we'll just have to hope that the $ amount was huge and maybe KHP is still pursuing a criminal case. I have tried searching for that, as well but have never found anything.

 

This is from someone that was in a fatal Accident himself Lets See Here the case was Filed in 1996 I was Deposed in 1997 the Pretrial motions began in 1998 then the case was Settled finally in 2000 so 4 years later. That give you a clue how long they take to do things in a case.

Here is how long it can take to do somethings anymore. We had a man Murder 2 people in 2006 in a town near me. He just went to Trial 2 months ago and was found guilty after his trial was over. Put it to you this way He had been eligable for the Death Penalty when caught he got life in Prision instead.

Or my wifes Ex Husband that is a Convicted Child Abuser he broke my stepsons Collar Bone at 4 months of age. My stepson was 2 before that trial took place. That give you a clue how slow the wheels of Justice turn anymore.

Wasn't that a state building in CA? I use to hear scuttlebutt about that indecent all the time, never could figure out what was true and what was bs.
