    That actually is quite true.

That's what you get for playing with fire. It'll burn you! Megas are scumbags, my friend.

@Beaver9 this is nothing new. Set up takes more than 5 min time and they may have to cover that load fast. Swift-Knight can have deep pockets and they also have freight everywhere, so I would not be sore at them but rather be glad that next time the load will be mine as soon as I pick up the phone.

I've been making a living for the last year or two dealing exclusively with "scumbags" then (?!!).
I don't remember when was the last time I booked a load from a non-mega broker....
I tell you what though, they all paid what they owed. Fair and square and on time.

Most of their credit ratings say otherwise. If you're happy working with the enemy go for it but there are plenty of others who have not shared your experience.

Unless they had pulled it off the board while waiting for your paperwork you weren’t really held captive
At any moment until you have signed papers you could have booked something else and told them it’s taking too long and you’ll get the next one

If you had seen they pulled it off the board then I would have waited for the papers

Your problem is you gave them too much time. If a job can't be sent to you in 10 minutes on to the next one. Never wait longer than that. Also if you plan on working with other big brokers try to get set up in free time so you are not waiting to get approved.

When you agree on the price, then it is a contract. So, that is what happened here.

Honestly, it still doesn't change the fact about their practices.
Their app wasn't working properly, hence a delay there. I actually try to skim over parts I sign at least. Others might choose not to.
    That is okay.
Brokers like us work. So, I wasn't skeptical at first for them taking longer.
