Was the guy in shock or something? He was just sitting there.

 

I thought that was very odd also!!

 

I've seen people in shock. That is what you're seeing in the video.

Also, that's just a normal day on 287 in rush hour traffic.

 

I believe the real hero was the business man in the shirt and tie that had the driver out of the truck before the troop got there.
Most people just film it, or drive past.
Troop hustled and took charge, but the citizen saved that trucker.

Looked like a possible medical crash. He was out.

 

That wasn't a businessman, it was actually NJ State Police Lt. Edward Ryer on his way home from work.

 

I actually thought it "might" be a detective, or plain clothes of some sort, so I went back and looked for a description and couldn't find details.
