Anyone ever see a source for the little 12point black round nuts that hold the dash switches in on a 1999 style dash (W900 and similar) ?
I went to my local stealership and all they had was 6 point silver regular nuts.

These are the 12point black style I am looking for (like on these switches):

Eaton makes these switches...they also carry a wide selection of nuts, if I can figure out which one I need.

Then, face a 1000 count minimum order!!

I think the supplier changed, and now we carry the 6 point and the smooth one with the 2 notches. No more 12 point :smt022

ACE hardware had a $3 kit that has a few different round switch nuts.
None are black but one looks like a gear with many teeth vs the typical hexagon
    nut.

That will work until I find a black one somewhere..

IF you can find a salvage yard nearby you could probably get some of those for next to nothing Handarko. I know, I know, easier said than done. I got lucky once and found one in Knoxville, TN by pure chance riding by... that I got a good pitman arm from for $65... that Kenworth wanted about $600 for brand new. Anyways, my truck has the exact same dash, gauges, toggles and those 12 point nuts as yours. So if you can locate a crashed out 2003 or older T600 or T800 it will have those...

Call a salvage yard. Doesn't have to be local. I have one in AL that I get switches, gauges from alot at a very small fraction of the stealerships cost. Do a search for commercial salvage yards. Aren't you near HriBar?
