Took some pics of how I did mine. I am not sure how other trucks with dual levers are setup but this is what I came up with. They have worked very well for 3 years now.
The rear crossmember was in the perfect spot to mount the leveling and dump valves.
Welded a piece of angle iron to the air bag pedestal to mount the linkages on. (no I did not realise I had a leaking wheel seal till I just looked at these pics, trucks been sitting since Dec.)
I put in two gauges, one to monitor each side. They come in handy to tell if the valves are working or if there is a problem somewhere.
...and two switch to be able to dump each side individually as I run on steep hills and with the changing terrain it is nice to be able to manully dump some air quick instead of waiting for the valve to do it
I used:
-2 Haldex 90054007 leveling valves
-2 Haldex 90554615 dump valves (you may only need one if you don't want to deal with the two switches)
-2 scrap yard KW air gauges
-2 scrap yard air switches
- lot and lots of air line and fittings
I believe the AG 100 is supposed to be set at 8" from the pedestal to the bottom of the frame rail. I forgot to measure mine, KW can tell you.
This Air Leaf was alot trickier to do because of the longer suspension travel.

Finally got around to doing it yesterday. Worked very well. Mounted everything to the rear crossmember like you did. Didn't look at the pics again before doing it and ended up mounting the levelers different but it all worked out very good, looks nice and the truck is level again.
I haven't checked it today now that he is running it bug last night when I went to air it up the lighter side never quit dumping air for 10 minutes. like I said ill have to check again today. But any ideas as to why it would be doing that?
Btw, KW told me 10" ride height (frame to center of axle ) on this truck with ag100.

I guess it is still constantly dumping air on the one side. Any ideas why this would be?
Thanks. -
If it is dumping air on one side and that guage reads lower pressure, you most likely have a ride height set up issue. The higher set valve is lifting the truck frame more and causing the other height valve to exhaust air. Get on a level ground and set both height valves equal. Might take some time to get it right. The adjustment nut is very sensitive to up and down. We have Neway 252 in all our straight Trucks with dual height valves, they are a pain to keep perfect level. Make sure linkage doesn't bind and the adjust nut is tight after. Good luck!

thats kind of what I was figuring. i guess I will have to play with it some then.
-
Ya, incorrectly set linkages would be my guess. The heavier side is doing all the lifting. Adjust the heavier side down, or lighter side up. The 8 bag is a breese to set up and adjust compared to a 4 bag with springs. Park it in that nice level shop and chock a wheel, no parking brake while you adjust the height.

Anybody try the instant response levelers instead of the controlled response ones? I'm thinking of trying them out on our Mack silage truck. Seems they might be a better fit for the application? Could be wrong though. Thanks.

Did you try the instant response? I though about those originally but figured with the rough terrain they would constantly be dumping or adding air.
Pray for rain!!! -
The controlled response ones were always dumping air on the one side of the mixer, I played with them a lot but it seemed it didn't help. I think with more time they might have worked better.
This caused some issues as the truck at high idle for moving couldn't build air fast enough to maintain 120psi, only90. So it never tripped the governer thus the air dryer rarely cycled. With the ridiculous heat and humidity this summer that filled the tanks fast with water and seized up the chamber for deep reduction pretty quick.
I switched it all back ti the stock leveler for now. Going to try the instant response ones next. It looks like they use a large two piece arm setup.
