It'll have one in the center, but with a Herd Super Road Train. This in the pic same as my buddy's. Can't really see the pin behind the plate.

If you are serious about protecting the front of your truck, forget the Herd bumper and get a Bandit bar http://www.banditbar.com/truck.html I have a Herd for a Pete in the shed, won't even bother putting it on. I also have a Bandit on the old LTL9000. There's no comparison. The Herd is for looks (and they all look horrible IMO) and the Bandit is made to save the front of your truck.

Thanks a lot for the link man! I was looking for this maker for sometime now. I do like the way Herd looks and I wouldn't say it doesn't keep your truck safe. Herd does sit very low to the ground, which makes difficult to drive in mud or deep snow, plus it weighs a ton and expensive too.

It is a nice bumper and it's nicely priced as well. Spoke to Steven (the creator) of Bandit Bar and the whole thing including shipping from AB to QC comes down to whopping $7500. That's a record breaker! Herd SRT (4" tubes) with slam latch system and few custom lights on my friends truck at $4700 shipping included, went through 2 big elk without a scratch last year. I do like the Bandit Bar, but I think I'll be saving that extra 3 grand for something else.

NRG....... What are you doing for a pump..? Hydraulic ?

Pumps aren't that expensive , but installation will kill you. And it needs to be done right .....

T&E 4100 on hydro with outboard gears most likely, possibly the "Big Green Bustard" from APlus machining on hydraulics as well. They say it's faster then T&E and you can plumb the coolant lines through their pump to heat it during winter. It is more expensive by $2k then a T&E and exclusive to their shop, if you need maitanence. The whole rig up is around $20K plus or minus. $10 grand lesser if you wanna go with just PTO and a shaft.

Don't get the bumper with the pipe across the bottom. Running around in the patch it will get bent quickly. And if you run Saskatchewan the gophers will hit it.

I've see the aftermath on many Herd bumpers with lower rake, it's too low. I'll get the Super Road Train but without the lower rake like on this photo.

Btw, took a Neway ADZ T800 tandem dump truck for a test drive, the only one they had with 46K rating. Was very impressed how smooth it is over our never ending pot holes on Montreal service roads. Also noticed, the stability in turns and lane changes. Did a little off roading as well, my sales rep didn't want me to soak up brand new truck in mud too much lol. It is definitely feels more secure over the road and off then the KW AG460. I think I'll be ordering this suspension. There is a small downside to it. It is 200lb heavier then AG and costs extra $1200. My sales rep will include a 5/500ml warranty free of charge as a bonus (the original is 3 years).

Get the exterior bug screen for the radiator with the winter front too. Saves hassling later.....

The neway is a good setup!
