    so that big yellow motor in my 2017 (see pic in sig) isn’t really a Cat ?

    What is your operation? If you’re willing to spend in the 60s you’d get a much better truck.
    Used trucks, I prefer Volvo or Freightliner. I’ve been burned twice by used Cummins trucks. Cummins is a very dirty engine. If you’re buying a used truck, expect that they’ve only greased it and changed the oil. Volvo engines are great as well as Detroit. I have a 2015 used Volvo, with a driver in it right now and it’s a great truck. I’ve driven Volvo, Cummins, and now an A26. The A26 is awesome with Volvo being my runner up.
    Everyone likes to get cheap deals but I’d rather pay in the 60s for a lower mileage truck that I can catch up the maintenance intervals on. And, it will be a good truck for several years, once that’s done.
