F her and the cop. They have no evidence and can’t prove it. If it turns into anything but a report I’d fight it.

I don’t know but replacing her bumper shows guilt. Wonder if she could use that to get more out of you later????? I’d contact an attorney.

Cop sounds like a 6’2, clean cut, blue eyed, axe deodorant, chipotle eatin pos. In my professional opinion I would’ve suggested you to tell him to back track, find that wood and suggest that he sit on it vertically in the squad mobile for the rest of his shift.

beat up Honda Civic, what is more to know? Fraud

No video, no witness, no lumber, no way.

Tell her to go jump, whats to say a bird didn't fly into the lumber knocking it off?

she most likely also got a report number, and has already seen her lawyer, and now has whiplash, a broken arm, a hangnail, and a bad pedicure.

    lawyer up, to protect yourself.

    maybe next time.>??

put a tarp on the end..??

maybe take pictures of the strapped load.??

maybe always makes sure you have that cross out..????

gotta protect yourself more and more each day, scammers are everywhere.

then too.........you really do not know if anything flew off or not, you don't have cameras.....

    your word..her word.....the report........lawyer up.

Did the damage on her car appear fresh and done by whatever could have fallen off from the trailer?

I would not pay her anything unless 100% certain that it was caused by me.

I agree. H*ll to the Nonono. Do not admit guilt by fixing anything, and fight that. It's bologna and there is no evidence.

When I pointed out to the trooper that the damaged area wasn’t fresh and had dirt on it. I rubbed my finger through it. His exact response was that the dirt/dust could have come off the piece of wood. Trying to get him to budge on anything other than what she said, wasn’t happening.

Should have asked him to find the lumber that caused the damage and the lady to provide dashcam footage. That’s his pharkin job and burden of proof is on her. No evidence? The lady and the cop can both phark the farthest off.
