Landspan Our experience

I think i did read that part on the JCT thread.. Hopefully sometime we can meet up.

Well so far we have made it to fontana. have to get the landing gear pad fixed before dropping. The pad was so rusted that it fell off@! LOL

The yard is not that big and barely room to park. haven't checked the rest of the facilities yet..

and thanks for posting the picture, we can use it for other things now

 

well we have been at the shop all day getting a PM done, actually had to go down the street to get it done because our shop was too busy.

The other shop found out that we had 4 cracked discs and so had to replace those. Now all we need oil in the rear end differential. No telling how long that will take. I really don't like company shops, they take forever!!!!!!!!

We almost made it off the yard.. Was turning the truck looking for an empty and power steering pump went out...starts banging head against steering wheel.... hubby calls our DM and told them what was going on so now we have been at the KW shop all day waiting to get it fixed. Which, btw, they have a pretty nice driver's lounge set-up at the KW off of Cherry in Fontana. It's ALOT better than our terminal!!!

So Maybe tomorrow we will get out of California. Then again maybe God is seeing to it that we stay out of bad weather

 

no, we sure don't. most of the newer ones and volvos have them. We actually get a bonus for not idling in California. I forget what it is at the moment but I wonder if they take in the fact if your truck is being worked on into that bonus???

Well after making some friends with fellow drivers at the KW, Panther drivers ( I can't remember your name), Conway and New Century.. It was a blast! ok not really... hope you guys are rolling in the dough and not the snow..

 

Yeah we got a load going to coppell, tx.. not that great miles but we are off the yard. It sure was a rough first week with this company but that was mainly mechanical problems.

We don't deliver till Monday but will be there tomorrow night. Will have to ck and see if they will let us deliver early.
