Im so sorry to hear about your home.. I have to tell you that I dont know that I have ever met a person in my life who is as positive as you are. And I know with that attitude there is no way you are going to fail with your future endevors. The majority of the people in this world would have wanted to quit and gone into hidding with the issues you have faced over the last month. You are an incredible person!!
I believe in my heart that what is happening to you now is only happening because someone has a better plan ahead for you. Some day when you may not even realize your gonna cross that path that you are meant to cross. It may be to save a life, a sole, or well only god knows exactly what that is. You are very correct. You have a pocket full of cash, and moving into another venture that is only going to build more cash for you. You and hubby just keep doing what you do and Im sure wherever you land or deside to call home is where you are meant to be by a higher power.
With the money that you will be saving and earning, LOL I would love to trade bank accounts with you in lets say oh..... 6 months!!
With a uncertain future for myself, Im not sure if Ill still have my job in the local PD or returning to drive truck this month. But if and when you find yourself driving across I80-I76-or I77 in the Akron Cleveland area of Ohio and you want to stop and have dinner, I would be happy to buy for you and your hubby!! CB, as we suspected... We have sat all weekend. They gave us a load that had to be picked up on Friday by noon, but we didn't even get the truck until 3pm, after they detailed it. So we had to sit all weekend to wait for today to pu the same load. Will be headed for Cincinnati. Doesn't deliver until Wednesday, but we are going to go thru the house and grab a few things that we couldn't bring with us. After that, we'll see if we can deliver earlier. I pray we can and I pray we can get moved into a freight lane that will keep us moving. All we can do is keep our head high and pray God will carry us thru!

I'm so sorry to hear about your house. I do believe that God is watching over you thou. Doesn't seem to be a great place where you was. I hope, from here, you can build a fresh new beginning and find another place later, that will be better!

Will be thru Jop today sometime, maybe we'll catch ya there.

Do what makes you guys happy CB, I've followed your thread thus far and you guys seem to have a very positive attitude about everything, I left my current carrier at one point over decissions that were all my own and regretted it heavily, luckily I was offered my position back, and haven't looked back since, sometimes the lord works in mysterious ways and it takes having everything "seemingly" taken away from you to truly appreciate the good things in life.

 

Another thought if you get to looking for a better team outfit try RE GARRISON dot com. I have a friend that is an O/O there and loves it, his brother runs team with him sometimes and they make good money. They do O/O, AND company drivers.

 

We used to work for US Xpress. Used to like them, but they are one yet to be desired any more.

Well glad they got you moving again. I know what outfit you are talking about. I thought about going over there myself, but same reasons applied. No dogs at the time and no opening for a team. Oh well! Lol.

Got to Cincinnati yesterday, unloaded, and then got a p/p to Cali for the 11th. It cancelled. Arrgghh. Now doing a rp w/another team going to SLC. Maybe they'll keep us going now. Lol

We wish you the best in whatever ya'll decide. We are going to try to hang out here and see what happens. Whatever we get here has to be better than what we got at USX. As long as it pays the bills right now, we are happy!
