    I loose quite a few loads due to not having twic but I live on the gulf coast.

    don't want to go into the ports if I can help it anyways but some of them pay good

    can a landstar bco tell me about the insurance as far as what you have to have at landstar. i am talking about physical damage and bobtail.they told me i have to use their bobtail.any info appreciated.

    my friend if you are leased to landstar yes the can tell you what insurance you have to have you might not want to hear it but landstares ins carrier sets the requirment s and if your leased to them you have to meet there requirments . hope this has helped.-----southernpride

    your welcome to get your own but it has to meet there requirements. Which of course at least for the bobtail mean you have to use theirs. THey require unlaiden liability not just normal bobtail.
    they also require you to have workmans comp or buy the policy they offer which is the same thing really.

    You still with landstar, MM? I was looking at them for flatbed, those guys still slow with the step-decks and such?

    Steps are very show last I looked. Pays better but little freight. I'm not the guy to ask about landstar though. I'm disgruntled
