That's weird because I'm pretty sure I've seen Bennett's tariffs in the system. I copy and pasted A LOT when writing my tariffs for DOD. I'll double check this weekend.

Yeah im pretty sure thats what a Bennett agent was telling me a few years ago. Bennett trucks still go in though as I recall loading a few tanks with a couple of Bennett guys..... At least the side of their trucks said Bennett.

I bet they lost AA&E under Bennett the more I think about it. Landstar lost it under Inway I think and had to move all of them to Ranger. IIRC, that was the first Inway hiring spree and the 4 digit Inway drivers were upset they lost their exclusive club.

    cke Thanks this.

I got my own authority when I left dsv.. been chasing to many problems with my equipment and I ran out of money.. so I'm back to being a company driver for the time being... still fighting no matter how many ### kickings I take.. seems to be about all a guy can do at the end of the day

The best load i hauled was liquid totes in ND. $600 for 45 miles. They were moving a warehouse full to a fracing site. 5 loads a day for the weekend. There was 5 trucks hauling.

So after the buyout they erased all evidence of Sammons a legendary company …… some progress

At 27% - 35% cut I’d hope they would be loosing drivers, unless they have a guarantee of $9000 weekly gross

cke, Rideandrepair and ccbg2013 Thank this.

Built a new office in Missoula a few years ago clear out west of town. I’m sure they made bank off the little chunk of land where the old office was. I don’t think anyone saved the iconic Sammons sign from out front either.

I can't figure why everyone goes there at that kind of cut when most others are at 25% or less.

On another note. What happened to their program of them helping one to buy a truck.

    cke and Rideandrepair Thank this.
