    depends on where you live and what you haul if you need your own trailer or not , i work out of ohio and about 75% of my loads are drop and hook and those loads usually pay better .my suggestion is hold of on buying a trailer until you get a handle of what you want to do if after a couple of months you aren't doing many drop and hooks you would be better off $ buying a trailer

    It depends on who you ask. Someone who’s seasoned can do 15-20k a month. Ask a guy who’s been here a few months and they might say Landstar sucks....
