It is an old Interstate truck. No, I run mostly along the southern areas from Florida-Georgia to Missouri south to Texas. The money in the northeast sucks now. I can make a lot more by staying away from there. About the farthest east I want to go is Ohio. any farther east the rates drop off drastically, and there's a lot more trucks looking for the freight.
I have no doubt the graphics would hold up in any heat. He buys the best vinyl he can get. The graphics on my truck are layered vinyl as opposed to printed. Each color is a separate piece of vinyl. The Gray is placed over the Green to get the effect. He can do that in any color. I believe he said the warranty is for 5 years on fading, but check with him to be sure.

You could if you ran the freight through a Landstar Agent and the company was able to be issued credit by the Landstar credit department. Your cut wouldn't be nearly as big though.

There was a rumor on the bash bbb thread that you had been banned. I had planned on checking in with you but after making a fool of myself and working on helping get new drivers rolling I just forgot. Glad to see you are still around.

This is why I went independent. I had a contract for about 4-6 weeks to haul corn every fall and LS would not let me take their name off the door and run with someone else. At the time it seemed like some BS but now that I have my own carrier and run drivers under my authority I see all the compliance and legal reasons why. They are responsible for you as long as you are leased to them. No getting around that.MNdriver Thanks this.

Oh it was no rumor. I was banned for two weeks back in December for "recruiting." It was only through vigorous effort on my part fighting the accusations that I was graciously unbanned by the mods and placed on a choke collar. I didn't get a chance to respond to that thread before Mike locked it. Been super busy making calls and trying to get more direct customers. We're pushing hard to build our intermodal side to offer our customers a different option. Yeah, I know...I said the dirty word.

Thanks for the consideration though...BigBadBill Thanks this. -

It seems that you have been keeping the roads hot.

The roads and airports. I can't do all that driving as I am not the open road type. Probably why I don't have a CDL.
