Where is a good place to buy moving blankets at? I tried at the Great Dane in Dallas but they did not sell them there, I stocked up on some ratchet straps though since they had them for around $6.50 a piece.

U haul sells two different pads, and I'm sure you can find them at other places.

We always get them at uhaul and only when we need them. Uhauls are pretty much everywhere. Two weeks ago a driver was in MA needing blankets so I paid by phone for a couple cases I believe and it was like $60. These were not the best of the best, but they did the job and will last a while. I did not even know Great Dane sold straps. News to me. I love how abundant all trucking necessities are in the great state of Texas!!! Love Texas for parts and repairs too.

I'm always on the board looking for loads so when I book, it's anywhere from 2.50 on the low end to 3.00 gross

Any Landstar drivers out there who can't find good loads because your always driving... My company who has drivers on the road can help you since we're always on the load boards... My drivers are getting 3000-3500 miles a week that I'm loading them up, and we can help you busy guys too... We will charge .05cpm on what we find for you... We will keep you very busy and for 175.00 a week for you to keep running is well worth it... I book all my loads at a minimum of 2.50 gross but closer to 3.00 a load... But again I'm always watching that board... Email me at mattmateo2006@gmail.com if your interested or need more info...

2.50-3.00 for loads coast to coast aint happening for solo,(unless lifgate,100 pads, etc) its more likely short runs which are always there. If you had loads from west to east and back to west for at least 2.50 gross for solo I think you would have too many bco's calling you.
landstar8891 and Alf24 Thank this. -
Not coast to coast, my loads always range from 1500-2000 miles at 2.50-3.00 a load

I am sorry but i have to call B/S on this one...2.50-3.00 if you are talking Chicago...1.00-2.00 in Northeast....Short Hop is big money but that will not get your drivers 3500 miles a week....This is not adding up....Alf24 Thanks this.
