Just starting with Landstar and my first day will be 9/3 next Tuesday. I want to know if Physical Damage is required at Landstar, because I signed a lot of insurance paperwork for unladen liability and faxed those to Debbi in Texas but she never mentioned P/D.

No PD is not required by LS. Gallagher will be glad to give you a high rate, but you can have whoever you want. I have had OOIDA's PD for over 10 years now, 4 of those with Landstar.

ltdutchprior and Ranger Bob Thank this.

Did anyone here attend the WebEx today about available loads? I totally forgot about it and was wondering if there was any useful info?

There are a BCO's that have different types of trailers (van, platform) but its thier equipment. Not sure if you meant more than one piece of company equipment, thats one for someone else to answer.

You can only have one company trailer, but there are a lot of BCO's that own and run a flat and a van or RGN and a flat.
