Looks great, Dave. Is it new, new?
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
No, it's a '16. Cream puff. Fully loaded. They even through in a new fridge.
I'm letting my guy take Casper for awhile, the new truck is going to be his, but still need the e log. Just moved him into Casper.
He'll be gone a few weeks. I didn't really want a few weeks off, but I'm not gonna hold him up.
Let him make the money.Last edited: Oct 26, 2018
WesternPlains Thanks this. -
Watch that deer guard! It likes to scrape the ground on steep drive entrances. They are just a bit low on the approach angle.
But I've hit deer with them, didn't think they would do much, but they did the job with no downtime.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -

Did you put a new mattres in Casper for the new driver?Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
-
No. But my mattress still has the plastic on it. The new truck has the gooooooooood mattress. I wouldn't be surprised if Casper returns fully detailed inside like it came from the dealer.
He likes Casper. He's like " This is a great truck!!! This truck runs great!!! "
Wait til he gets in his lol. -
The new truck is finally on the Landstar fleet.
( Plays that music when ND scores a touchdown ).
Permits tomorrow, then I can order the e-log. -
They don't make it easy, do they.
You know, in the real world, corporations have check lists and whatnot to make these things as painless and efficient as possible. After all, every day you sit, they're not making any money.
But in the trucking world, we strive to make things as convulivited (sp...I know), and unnecessarily complicated as humanly possible.
Good luck Dave.blairandgretchen, jsnell and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
