Absolutely agree.
I've never seen rates like this.
$2+ in to Houston, 2+ out.
Last year if I could get $1.50 out, I'd think I'd hit the lottery.

 

As long as we all understand it isn't going to last ... I do.

Did grapes out of nogales last month to chicago for 6k ...was a broker load and she told me there's about another 6 weeks left on those rates .

 

I know nothing about that part of the world.
I operate mostly in the southeast and the midwest.
All I can say is that in those markets, the rates are pretty good.
Maybe this is our year to win.
Next year, probably not so much.

Agreed ! The sandal wearing gonna get rich in trucking crowd will be back and the auction lots will be full of trucks and trailers again ...those that bought equipment at inflated values will be hosed and equipment values will go in the toilet again .
