I don’t see all the loads as I’m just an approved carrier these days, but my always on load alerts cover the southern half of GA. You aren’t missing anything for flatbed. I haven’t pulled a LS load that wasn’t from one of my go to agents that text me with it in a long time. In times like these especially, the real good freight never hits any loadboard, LS, DAT, Truckstop, etc. It’s all about the relationships right now.

That's easy. $50.00 and a fifth of Jack Daniels. Oh wait...that's for annual car inspections. Could be more.

    The attrition continues at Landstarve.

Interesting post on their FB page details a guy's whining as he is leaving.

20 years as a BCO, blah, in the day, blah, whine, blah.

They always comment on the market being down, and surviving.

Not unlike our own esteemed members.

My first thoughts when i read a post like that guys are," You didn't survive."

Well I'm headed in while they are headed out. It's a bit worrying that's for sure. I just gave lease termination notice at Schneider. But, if you saw the loadboard at Schneider, you'd be shocked. At the same time, I've been looking at the loads on LandstarOne and what I can see out of Arizona is discouraging. I can' get access to the rates because I'm not a BCO yet. If I have to, I can ride out this freight depression on a subsistence freight diet because I saved for a rainy day barring my truck blowing up. Just spent 7 grand between velocity truck center tolleson and Schneider shop to get repairs done on the truck. 546,000 miles. Bought it new.

Go over to Stewart and Stevenson / W.W.Wiliiams instead of Velocity.

You'll be millions of dollars ahead.

Velocity is the worst or tied for worst service department.
Freightliner of the northwest will also rob you blind.
