Has anyone else noticed these agents that do what I call "gap loads", little hauls to make money when there is nothing better to do, or prevent a DH because it's going where you need to be, seem to be a group of people from the 610 area code???????
Is there like a "Be a Landstar agent" class or someone having an agent school back there or something?????
Way, way too many to be a coincidence.

They all work for an American agent but most are located in eastern Europe. They use magic jack for phone. All brokered loads but good sometimesDave_in_AZ Thanks this.
-
They all speak perfect English, no acsent.
The loads aren't bad at all, but Good Christ they are all PITA with status phone calls and emails.
Worse than TQL.
If they wanna know that bad or are that concerned, why not just use a tracking app?
I think I have every one of them that there is installed.jsnell Thanks this. -
In other news. This is my 92nd Landstar load they are unloading as I type.
I know this because there are 91 scans in my Landstar Scans folder lol. -
Of course some low life #### sucker, I mean one of our fellow BCOs sticks me with this trailer with a flat.
Check out this high tech red neck jack-
Battery powered no less. -
In other news - I have like 4 hours spent showing two new BCOs how to use load alerts, and LCAPP fuel research, and IFTA tax rates this week.
To all new BCO"s -
Go away. I don't want you here. I'm compelled to give you an understanding of how this stuff works when you ask, but go away.
I have a new truck, black 379 EXHD, leave the man in the blue Cascadia with the cats alone, it's not me. -
in fairness, Dave......the ones with the inflate thingy on them.....it's very, very conceivable that the tire wasn't flat when he dropped it off....jus' sayin'jsnell Thanks this.

You could hear the air groaning through the air tank on the trailer, and hiiiiiisssssssssssssssssssss, when you stood next to the tire, in fairness.

That's where I got that flat fixed. I don't think I'd let them work on my tractor. Maybe if it was something simple and absolute 911 emergency.
Was an 1 hour 45 minutes to get that flat fixed, with no one waiting, I pulled right in.
I will say 15 minutes of that was waiting for trailer maintenance to pick up.jsnell Thanks this.
