    Meaningless venom??
In a nutshell it was far more trouble than it was worth. I am not going to going into finite details because it is too time consuming. Good for you with your 10 months but I was merely treading water. Their rates are not quite as per advertised and they are up to their eyes in bs 'policies'. I would not recommend them to anyone although I can understand that if you can find a reliable agent to work with pulling regular freight they could be good. However that applies anywhere - without the massive 28 or 35% deduction.
Glad your happy at 10 months. I'll stick to what I got at 15% thank you.

Very good. Lots of friendly people. Drivers and instructors.
There is a lot to get accomplished over the 2 days. They treat you like a big boy. No hand holding. They don't get too in depth. Not a lot of time. However, you will be assigned an advisor you can call with any questions for the 1st 90 days. I'm happy and a little nervous. But definitely no regrets.

How's it going so far? I have everything in to them, so hoping to get orientation scheduled in the next couple weeks. Can't wait to start.

Likin it more each day. It's the closest one can get to O/O without getting their own numbers.
I can see good potential that will pay off over time. Learning the unique lanes and developing relationships will take time. Also developing my method of operation, all in time will definitely pay off.
    Challenge will pay off.

    whoopNride and Scott72 Thank this.

They managed to screw me nicely with refunding my escrow. $129 returned out of $500. A mysterious service fee for me returning the QUALCOMM. No mention of refunding the $26 it cost to send it back. Usual bottom feeders. Thieves liars. If I can ever figure out how they stole $371 from me I'll post it here.
I am somewhere now that has clear settlement statements and only charges 15%. I am doing considerably better. Forget Landstar they are crooks.
No wonder OOIDA took them to court - and won.

It's what you make of it. If your smart and work hard. It will pay off. Plenty of people are making good money. The one problem is the market sucks right now.

It amazes me how new guys without even a year experience want to become an o/o. I thought I knew a lot my first year driving but I learned 2000 new things five years later at the expense of the multi million dollar company I drive for.

Can you say where you went to. Been driving 13 years as a company driver. And have been doing a lot of searching on different companies and options. Not 100% convinced of my intentions yet though.
