The military stopped paying a fsc some time ago unless fuel was at least $2.50/gallon. It has been so long since I hauled a military load that I am not sure whether they are even paying a fsc any more.

I thought that it was an odd statement to make that you asked for the truck number on a public forum before discussing rates and specific lanes. That is something that would usually be asked in private through a pm or telephone call. There are a lot of spammers on forums lately. I am sure the administrators just want to protect members. By the way, is there any way to get a current agents list? -
He's definitely a LS agent for OZR. I just verified it.
Landstar no longer prints an agent list and relies on the internet. Sorry.volvodriver01 Thanks this. -
I figured that he was an agent. In fact, I believe that I met some of his people at a Landstar get together in Nashville a few years ago. I did think it a little odd to ask for someones truck number on a public forum. I don't know that I would provide personal information for everyone to see. Landstar did stop publishing an agent list several years ago. I thought they might have reconsidered or have a way to now download one from the internet. At times, it has been a challenge to find certain agents without having to call corporate. -
Do you have a login for landstarbroker.com? Do they not have an agent list there?
-
I have a log in, but they no longer have a way to get a list of agents. If I need to find a particular agent the only way is to call corporate and try to find them. When I was leased to them they gave a list of agents to all new BCO's at orientation. I spoke with someone in Jacksonville once who told me that the reason they no longer make the list available is due to other carriers hiring away their agents. It would be good if Landstar made a list available to approved carriers. I had a computer to crash a couple of years ago and I lost almost 300 contacts. I didn't have all of them backed up. When I got new software the updated software would not read the old data so there are still a lot of contacts that I cannot access. I understand that Landstar wants to protect their interests, but it would be much better if they would allow approved carriers to access the list. -
I asked in a private area that only select few can see, but I can understand their attempts to protect people. I just wish they'd answer me back and get this ironed out so I could fully utilize this site again.
I really need to vent to some of the BCO's right now out of public eye and can't. It's frustrating. You likely did meet me in Nashville at the Opryland Hotel. We were there in force. Gosh I was only 22 the last time we had a get together in music city. I'd like to get a golf tournament or scramble this spring. -
Btw, there is an agent directory on landstaronline.com
-
This meeting was downtown near the old Grand Ole Opry. I believe the place was on 2nd street. It had a western motiff. I don't recall the name of the restaurant and bar. There were two levels and Landstar had the upper level. Several agents had tables set up.
Do you have any side kit freight around Nashville? I have a friend who lives in Nashville and pulls a side kit. He is currently leased to another carrier, but is thinking about making a change. He is trying to find something where he can get back by the house fairly frequently. -
Thanks. I will check it out.
