That would be The Wildhorse Saloon. Good times to be had there. As far as the freight...I'm working on it. We're getting ready to do a huge push for sales in the Nashville area. I just relocated here two months ago.

Yep, the Wildhorse Saloon. They had a good turnout for the meeting. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Some stayed over afterward for their own party.

I appreciate the lead on Landstaronline. Access is limited to BCO's and agents. At one time I was able to access it, but corporate no longer makes it available to approved carriers. It was a good tool. Too bad they now restrict access. -
LSagent I was doing some research on becoming an agent, and I came across a "Rob Napier LS" site. I was wondering if you knew if it was legit or not. I tried to pm you but I don't have enough post. Thanks for any input.

If you want to become a Landstar agent all you need to do is go to their website. There is an application online you can fill out. Or, you could call their main office in Jacksonville, FL and ask them to connect you to the person who recruits new agents. You will need to be in a position to bring a book of business with you.

New2trucking, I'll be happy to get you in touch with the right people, but you'll likely need to become a sub-agent unless you have a significant amount of business. We'll find out for you. Where are you located?

I'm located in NJ right now, but i'm looking to relocate. I don't have any experience in brokering or trucking. I just recently got my permit. I would like to learn to broker because I like interacting with people, and I have some experience in sales.

Man I wish you could PM as I have some questions about the loads you have for stepdecks and such. I'd give you my email but don't need everyone sending me dirty pics lol

Owe you a call. Been a crazy week.
Last Friday one of my drivers took a LS load going to Home Depot DC. Turns out if was a drop and hook ONLY. No live unloads. And of course the agent would not return calls. Moved it up the ladder to corp and while we couldn't do anything about live unload, corp is paying my driver and this agent got dropped from LS.
While with a system as large as LS you are going to get some bad apples, and I think they opened the doors a little too wide during the down turn, they will do what they can to make things right with the outside carrier.
More than can be said for some of these large, multi-agent brokerage outfits.
Called TQL about an agent that had over 20 postings with different cities for one load. The responses was: "We pride ourselves on letting our agents run their business how the see fit."
