Never claimed to be a english profesor and my keys stick sometimes.
You Keep mentioning FACTS. What you should say is your version of facts.
facts are and this has been stated in bits and pieces by just about every poster here if you read carefully. I just but them all together in one group.
    facts are:
1 Landstar has more double brokered freight than their own freight
2 Landstar will try to cheat you out of money quicker on TONU than any other broker I have seen in five years
3 Landstars milage they display are way off if you don't know better.
4 Landstar agents will lie more often than not, if you ask: "Is this a double brokered load"
5 Landstar carrier services will do nothing even if you have a legitmate problem with a agent. They will say that they are independent agents and can do as they please.

These are just facts I can prove. Now I can understand you not wanting them posted but in all fairness shouldn't someone wanting facts about landstar be able to read the flip side? I am sure you'd rather only your sugar coated fairy tale be told? Landstar is a tool and like all tools you use them when you need them and if a better tool comes along retire the old one.

I can't do that as I run a specific area, most of the high rev. loads go to areas I don't go. I look in my market and grab the highest dollar per mile with the least amount of hassle. I do much better doing short haul than long haul, it's more work but when I'm done and want to come home I'm rarely more than 900 miles from the house and can cover the bounce.

I was just starting then. I have two trucks now. I'm still trying to decide if I want to run two or not. I ran Car and diesel shop before that for over 25 years and know how employees can drain your profits out real quick.
Sounds like ecnomic downsizing to me? I've done been down that road myself.

Where do you get bible thumping?? The last two words say it all.
You called me on grammar you should check your own. It should be:
"who he is" and "what his company name is".
I have already had that discussion with Rodney before at carrier services.
As far as you telling them anything about me thats not the way it's done.
If theres a problem you have to contact them and they contact me so all what you say is crap. A security threat to who?? Landstars double brokered loads? One fact I will tell you ultimate defense to anything is the truth, this is what I have posted here so what ever you claim is irrelavant.

You'd be suprised if you asked about me to some of the agents I have dealt with. So far 100% ontime , no problem deliveries they will also tell you I get pissed really quick about you screwing with my money. My rating with CHRW
is 98.3. I don't do a bad job cause I don't like the broker. All landstar agents are pretty much brokers under their bond and load board. Some people might construe it to be brokers that couldn't make it on their own?

Where are you hearing that LSbroker loads don't have the same loads as LSonline? I'm sure there are some loads that can only be hauled under LS Authority but I have looked at both boards side-by-side and see the same stuff. I can even see drop-and-hook van loads. I think that is funny.

You are correct. The agents rather put freight on broker trucks cause they make more money. Agents only get the percentage their contract calls for
like 6-7% some of the older agents get as high as 9%. With brokered loads they split it with landstar or even take it outside if they are one of the few with broker authority too. And the agents don't none of the extras like FSC or tarping fee like they do on broker loads, only the linehaul.
The only difference in boards is broker don't show the prices.
Agents aren't supposed to double broker either according to landstar corp.
If that happened their pool of agents would drop by at least 50%.

The best loads don't hit the broker board, only the Online board (actually best loads never hit either, but not what we are talking about). There is a code on whether the load is LS only, or broker-able.
As of writing this, there are 14,400 loads on LSOnline available and 4,400 on LSBroker available. So you carriers only see 30% of LS loads right now.

I hauled 10 loads in December, only 2 were posted to the board, one was not a direct customer and I knew before I called it was from KEEN, legal load on Dec 30 going 10 miles from the house. I would guess about 35% of loads are never posted to any board.

    fortycalglock and SHC Thank this.

Landstar does have some loads that can only be hauled by Landstar trucks.

    SHC Thanks this.
