Let's be fair. They aren't fools for turning it down. You d amn well know that you are getting it offered before them.
On dry van the bigger issue on rates is the competing LS brokers driving rates down. That hurts everyone but what can LS do with a contractor business model?
What they did do in order to continue to grow is to grow outside carrier base with ACG and grow in the direct bid business with NLM. Great things for for us and stock holders but does little for the BCO other than keep the largest agents happy so they won't spin out.
Blue Star is a top notch company and just making adjustments like all the other large carriers.
