Well, I have to admit I am getting rather disappointed with Landstar. I have called and emailed them about the issue with not being able to get their online application to work and still have heard nothing from them. Today I spoke with a Kathy, who was said she sent an email to corporate about this problem and they would call me back. Guess what, no call or email.

I will keep trying but I hope they don't treat everybody like this.

People are stupid and don't live up to their word anymore. Integrity is a lost art. Thankfully we still have it.

JJ had the same problem did the online App and then called a few days later said they didn't have it :biggrin_25511: He even had a confirmation #, So he redid it and called yep we have it, BUT we need your DR to to put on your 2 year medical card that you can drive a Tractor Trailer OTR without any restrictions (He had Shingles a 7 months ago and it was clearly stated on his Medical card that he was over them.

The Left arm doesn't seem to know what the right arm is doing there when it comes to the application process.

I would just ask the recruiter to send you an app in the mail.....much easier. Plus, undoubtedly you will have to resend a page or two that they can't find, or misplaced, or can't read clearly. Seriously though, it was totally worth the six week or so hassle to get on. I wish I would have done this years ago. I am very pleased so far.

    WatsonDL1 and LSAgentOZR Thank this.

I finally got the LS application to go through AND they have called me twice to explain the problem and apologize. They were very nice about the issue and explained that it is all due to an unexpected medical emergency with one of their people.

    Anyway, the ball is rolling.

    MNdriver and WatsonDL1 Thank this.

Give me a shout if you get over to Texas. We'll see if we can't help you out.
