Maybe, but I had it happen in on I 71 mm156 in full view of a trooper and he did nothing. I remember the location because it was egregious and intentional.

 

.... this thread... I am the worst car driver.. because I use to drive a truck.. so, I know, whether I am in my pickup, car or on my motorcycle I can out maneuver, out brake and out accelerate a big rig...

So, when I am rolling 74mph down the highway with a 70mph speed lime of 70 and a truck going 63mph pulls out in front of me to pass a truck going 62mph... I get errrkked...

The other day Inwas out riding with some friends when just that happened we were coming up on a truck who pulled out in front of us so he could try and pass another truck.. he would almost make it then a hill would come up and he would slip back, then he would almost make it and another incline.. cars piling up behind us.. finally he makes it.. and I was just gonna shrug it off and pass him .. but then he was a jerk and was laughing and blew his air horn.. so my friend in front flipped him off.. and this idiot driver decided to move over and ride the line to intimidate us... and that's when I had it.. and decided I was gonna make this idiot crap his pants... because again, I am riding a Bored out Harley chopper and can out maneuver, out brake and out accelerate that behemoth... so I passed him and put a little space between enough for him to see my brake lights an hit the brakes... he let of the fuel and I could hear his jake and see his wide open oh #### eyes as he hit his brakes.. I let him bear down on me close enough for him to lose sight of me then changed lanes and slipped right into his blind spot and slowed on down with him.. my friends passed him and moved over in front of him while I slipped in behind him staying in his blind spot and we let the line of cars pass and a few trucks pass..

Then we had just a little more fun with him darting in front and around him then took off down the road..

Normally.. I don't mess with drivers even when they annoy me and cut in front of me going 10 or more mph slower than me.. but, when he was laughing and blew his horn at us it set me off I decided to school him...

My point.. yes there are idiot drivers.. both in cars and in trucks.. no amount of laws is gonna stop that...

 

You know nothing and are lucky to be alive, your moronic justification for your actions in traffic is far more juvenile, childish and dangerous than the "offense" you claimed to be avenging.

You were never a truck driver and you are not a motorcycle rider either, whether you have ever driven a truck or not. Professionals do not amplify the situations created by the poor habits of others by acting like spoiled children whenever they feel they have been slighted.

The guy who posted above it, I thought that would be obvious but I guess I should have quoted that ridiculous story.

 

The behavior of 4 wheelers on the road in regards to safety around rigs is unbelievable. Friday afternoon while coming in to Columbus I watched a guy cut from the left lane between two rigs in the center lane that had maybe 3 car lengths between them to get over to the far right lane. He then proceeded to cut right in front of the front truck after he barely cleared the front bumber to get around a car in the far right lane. This is one of the biggest thimgs that I am not looking forward to in this career.

 

… blah blah blah blah blah. That story was totally unprofessional. Whether you're a trucker or a biker (I'm both). Terrible behavior on your part. Sorry, but it really was.

 

Lol.. that story happens hundreds of times across the country.. petitions and laws are not going to stop or change it... cars, motorcycles and other trucks will cut each other off, brake check each other as well as numerous other idiotic stuff...

But I certainly don't mind a little diatribe to actually get the discussion going...

The point it.. it isn't just cars cutting off trucks.. it is trucks cutting off cars, cars cutting off other cars, motorcycles doing stunts, trucks cutting off other trucks...

What about the Rush Hour Truck Ban... it worked in Los Angeles, so now other cities want to petition for it...
