It's sad lots of brokers earn more money than owner operators

 

Truckers do not help truckers anymore!

 

Maybe it's time for a minimum freight rate to be put in to law.

 

Lol in a free market? I don't feel sorry for the guy hauling at 1.00 a mile with his own authority.

 

I hereby declare the "The Freedom of rates Act"...

Rule 1:
All rates paid by the shipper must be made available to be seen by the drivers.
No more brokers hiding what they got.
No more carriers brokering loads to themselves at whatever rate they want to then turn around and sell it to their drivers on percentage.

Rule 2:
All rates MUST be posted on load boards along with the loads.

Rule 3:
All brokers are only allowed to take a maximum of 10% of the rate they get from the shipper.

We have a "truck driver shortage", not a "freight broker shortage". Reason being drivers are getting shafted and earning peanuts.
It's the driver pay shortage the "Freedom of rates act" will combat.

Those who violate these laws shall be fined 1000 pee bottles and sentenced to 5 years in a Freightshaker Crapcadia.
