You can use PTT without a username and password but it has to have been connected to central services within the last 20 days or something like that.

 

I use an alienware laptop that doubles as my tax machine, accountant laptop, gaming system and TV. And i use Diesel Diagnostics Software for Commercial Trucks brand scanner software. Be aware it cost me about $6,000 total between the laptop, the reader software and the upgrades so i could futz with settings. But....i also have an MX13

 

With Nox sensors I just change both each time . One time the wire rubbed through on the nox sensors and threw all sorts of codes that made no sense , swapped them out ran force regen cleared codes and was good to go . Last thing , those sensors can be hell to get out . Good luck with everything.

 

I couldn't get them out with a line fitting wrench. Had to take the shield and dosing injector out and use a pipe wrench.

Here ya go.I had to go through the mission of buying the hardware from OBD2tool and a laptop from Best Buy.Then had to find the pirated Cummins Software online.If I had to do it over I would have just purchased the laptop with everything on it like in the link above.Works on Cummins,Detroit,Mack,and Volvo.Not only will it let you pull codes but also run diagnostics test on the truck like a dealer tech would.
