Exactly what I said. Even at home I hardly ever use the scanner, but at least it is there if I do need it.

When my laptop is stored for travel. I always have it upside down so cooling fan can run with no restrictions for air flow.

You can do this within your cellphone and or laptop. You don't have to send it anywhere except back to broker/shipper.
I downloaded it free from Adobe.

The Pdf file you receive, you open it in the app, sign, save to any folder, I use Es file Explorer, then click to reply in email, attach the PDF and that's it. Saves lots of time, especially if it's a long contract on many pages and you have to initial each page

Camscanner is a nifty app. You take a pic of a document with your phone and it will convert it to a pdf file. I only rarely start up the laptop + printer/scanner/copier anymore. I use my smartphone to do just about everything.

    tonycr Thanks this.

I've always had Lenovo laptops. I keep it in a pelican hard case built for laptops (approx $80) while on the move. It has fallen off the bed no end of times and been generally well used. My bro in law is an IBM service tech and those guys use Lenovo laptops so I went with them. Good and reliable units.

I have a Lenovo... I think it is substituting for a broken coffee table leg at present.

Actually, I am/was very happy with it, but I haven't turned it on in about a year and-a-half. For my moblie computing I have gone pretty much full-time phone/tablet and I have a desktop computer at home. As for the IBM guys, Lenovo is what used to be the IBM Thinkpads. They changed ownership and brand name a bunch of years ago.

Yeah, they switched but the IBM guys still use 'em. Probably get a hell of a deal.
