Yeah, those aren't so hot. I have a black one and it works better. Even if the state of Texas is a roaming zone for Verizon.

What kind of hard drive you running? I'm worried if I try that with this netbook, I'll jam the heads into the platters.

I'm running a regular 5400 rpm drives. The smaller ones had problems taking damage from vibration but it doesn't seen to bother the larger ones at all.

getting an iPhone 3Gs has nothing to do with it, since AT&T does not have the software yet to tether the modem to your PC. I have the iPhone 3Gs, and its a great phone, however I use a broadband card from sprint, because I've been with them so long, its a common law marriage, and dipping out on them at this point would be foolish, seeing how every other carrier, (including sprint) caps the bandwidth at 5GB. Myself being under an older plan, I'm unlimited.

the harddrive & motherboard are cushioned ie rubber mounts, mounted in gaming case for portability. however it isnt on when im :biggrin_25513:going down the road! just the netbook up front for gps is on.... my desktop is almost a yr old , the digital hard drives are worth the money for durability and speed:biggrin_255:
