You have plenty of securement for the weight.
Nevermind, I got a better look at your chains on the PC monitor. That machine is not moving the way you have it secured.
Have a safe ride

Ok cool, I feel better about it. Now I’m fighting for detention time. Appointment was at 1, and they didn’t set it on my deck until 3:25.
-
I would put a chain on each end on the feet pulling to the center.
End of chain from rub rail around the legs/feet/end to the rub rail on the other side of trailer.
This will help keep the shear from sliding either direction. Just in case.
Put some bungees across those wires, they will fly around.
Good luck with the detention. -
look god to me

I would chain front and back bottom feet. But that’s me. You already have more then enough securements.
-
Yes trip chains front and back would be good for next time.
Over the feet and pull to the middle.
Also nails or lag bolts through the foot holes to anchor the blocking is a good idea.Gumper and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
Maybe apair of crossed fore and aft of that machine to deck. I don't know if they wrote laws prohibiting pairing of chain but that load there is pretty good considering. I see you set it exactly center light.

I can tell you from experience in moving that type of shear around a shop on rollers that they are VERY top heavy... Take extra precautions against tipping.
-
The crane guys tipped it when they were lifting it off the floor. It was humorous.D.Tibbitt, xsetra, Cattleman84 and 2 others Thank this.

Just bawl "ALLENZ" to the crane crew as the chain tightens... then we have some fun.
