Largest Love's in the US...

Wasn’t too very long ago you couldn’t even get to the fuel islands there…It was built around 2010 or so when fracking blew up in the valley..,same as the multiple Stripes/Valleros built up/down 77/281&35
Oil patch dried up so most of them have lots of room cept for the few on 35 w/all the traffic in/out LaRodeo

 

The new place at the 59 usually has spots open. The bad part is you have to decide if you want to sleep up against the back wall of the bunk or risk rolling out of bed in the middle of the night.

 

You must be here in Corpus or down in the Valley.

Because newspapers are a dying, outmoded medium desperately struggling to make enough money to stay in business.

 

Never thought loves would replace Petro as best truck stop. Petro went downhill once they started to close restaurants at night. Then Covid 19 they closed restaurants completely, plus paid parking.

loves had fast food but it was open during Covid 19 and free parking and nice showers. Plus they opened so many new truck stop when all the other chains said it was not possible and charge for parking.

 

I don't have any issue with Love's aside from the fact that they usually don't have a lot of parking at most of their truck stops and either way they usually fill up by mid to late afternoon. My favorite places to go to are the ones that are next to a TA/Petro or PFJ that has a lot of parking so I can park at one of those places and then go to Love's next door to shower or do whatever.

 

The company I drive for gets a fuel discount, so I typically fuel at loves. And their stores, and showers are generally the cleanest.

If you don’t get in early, parking is questionable.

 

Memphis, IN Love's I-65 x16 has 173 spots...I was just there Saturday morning at like 1am and there were 30 or 40 open spots

 

Maybe they finally figured out that they need to double the size of their parking lots?
