I am in Las Vegas and was trying to figure out how to make the most money locally.. I was doing trash Runs with Endurance paying $200 a load and doing 4/5 a day but the hill to landfill is tough on truck
I was thinking using my truck to haul side Dumps would be good they are paying $100 using my truck their trailer.

My only Question is , DO I NEED A CERTAIN TYPE OF TRUCK? ( I always see the long nose trucks hauling them) The double side dumps haul 40 tons and super sides haul 30 tons .. Will I be ok with a Freightliner DD15 with 505 horsepower
    Any advice / suggestions??

The side dumpers I seen in Vegas usually had 2 long trailers and were running 129,000 lbs. Drive around town and see who is hauling side dumpers or belly dumps or other stuff.

Most likely an A train, a B train has the second trailer hooked to a 5th wheel located on the rear frame of the first trailer.

    RockinChair Thanks this.

A 350 could Haul that power wise

You will be fine…even if you have regular 40s and you know how to drive, dsp 40 or 46 would probably be preferred though
